At KIZOO we help young start-up teams grow. We provide seed and early stage financing with a focus on web and mobile services. Apart from our financial resources, we are happy to share our longtime experience in development, marketing and product management in those markets.

We started as serial Internet entrepreneurs in Germany. Most notably we founded WEB.DE and, after a successful IPO, grew the company to become one of Germany's largest Internet portals and online media businesses. Since 2008 we use our experience and technical knowledge to help founders grow in international markets. Capital, mentorship and encouragement can initiate extraordinary growth stories. We are dedicated to help African start-up teams with financial resources as well as with our experience as entrepreneurs to transform ideas into reality.

We believe, Africa has a huge potential for entrepreneurs that can build Internet and mobile services for their home market as well as the global marketplace.

In order to support the african startup landscape, I have teamed up with Google and hand picked group of angle investors to bring Umbono to life. Umbono is a technology startup incubator for South Africa aimed to provide seed-financing and an ideal workspace in Cape Town to founders with support from experienced angels and mentors to transform ideas into reality.
